Алена появилась на свет в декабре и каждый свой день рождения ассоциирует с предпраздничной суетой, посвященной самому любимому празднику – Новому году. Будущая королева красоты родилась в семье простых рабочих.
Вскоре после рождения семья переехала в Молдавию к родственникам. Семья ютилась в маленькой однокомнатной квартирке, где ширмой между детской и взрослой комнатами служил шкаф. Через несколько месяцев мама Алены поняла, что такая жизнь невыносима, денег катастрофически не хватало, а иллюзия о лучшей жизни в Молдавии растворилась, как дым.
Родители приняли решение вернуться в уже знакомый Киев, тем более что тетка Алены Роза пообещала помочь с переездом и квартирой. Все случилось, как и было задумано, вот только квартира, куда поселилась молодая семья, требовала капитального ремонта. Мать Алены поступила в Харьковскую школу милиции и пошла на работу в прокуратуру. Нужно было зарабатывать на ремонт и жизнь. Отец Алены Анатолий не спешил становиться полноправным главой семьи и вместо работы предпочитал оставаться дома. Несмотря на избыток свободного времени за малышкой он не следил, что и послужило причиной постоянных простуд и болезней девочки. Когда Алене исполнился годик, ее мама приняла решение уйти от мужа. Из-за измены. Возможно, она бы и смогла простить ее, но нелюбовь отца к дочери стала сильнее любых аргументов. Так, на свой второй в жизни Новый год Алена осталась вдвоем с мамой.
В садик девочка пошла довольно рано, ей едва исполнилось два. Мама тяжело работала, чтобы иметь возможность прокормить себя и маленькую дочь. Алена часто оставалась в садике допоздна. Когда всех детей уже забрали родители, Алена сидела одна на лавочке и рисовала дом своей мечты. Он представлялся ей непременно на берегу моря, с мамой и папой и большим букетом красных роз посередине комнаты.
Самый беззаботный период в жизни Алены начался со знакомства ее мамы с молодым мужчиной по имени Владимир. Именно его она до сих Алена настоящим принцем, он как будто спас ее с мамой от чего-то плохого. Тогда маленькая девочка еще не понимала, что ее радость заключалась в том, что в доме появился мужчина. Мужчина, который стал помогать ей и маме и дарить им свою любовь. Он пор называет папой, именно с ним мама прожила десять лет в браке. Владимир казался был успешным адвокатом, и финансовая проблема на время отошла на второй план. Алена до сих пор вспоминает, как папа баловал ее, дарил подарки, водил на карусели, старался как можно больше времени проводить с ней. Вскоре Алена пошла в первый класс, а потом и оглянуться не успела, как перешла в десятый. Девочка училась на отлично и очень любила фотографироваться. Все ее подруги удивлялись, как хорошо она получается на фото. Тогда Алена решила попробовать себя в качестве модели в одном агентстве. После нескольких удачных фотосессий ей предложили первую в жизни
серьезную работу – поездку в Корею. Когда Алена рассказала об этом дома, то получила категорический отказ родителей. Ей было всего четырнадцать, и ни о какой поездке за границу не могло быть и речи. Девочка проплакала всю ночь, и когда ее мама увидела, как дочка переживает, решила все разузнать сама. На тот период она уже работала в правоохранительных органах, и навести справки о предстоящей поездке дочери ей не составило никакого труда. Оказалось, что работа законна, и мало того, туда ехала ее давняя подруга детства как сопровождающая. Тогда мама со спокойной душой отпустила Алену. Корея встретила девушку плохой погодой и хорошей работой. Все дни ее пребывания в чужой стране были расписаны по минутам. Она снималась каждый день и особенно хорошо получалась на фотографиях в образе невесты. В свои четырнадцать Алена выглядела немного старше и вела себя со взрослыми на равных. Она была настоящей звездой, на которую остальные девочки равнялись и подражали ей.
Но сказка закончилась, как только Алена вернулась в Киев. За два месяца ее отсутствия многое поменялось в их семье. Отец связался с сомнительной компанией, сильно запил. Как оказалось, это началось уже давно, просто мама, не желая травмировать ребенка, пыталась скрыть раскол в семье. Не в силах больше выносить постоянные обиды и пристрастие супруга к алкоголю мама Алены подала на развод. Дочь поддержала ее, хотя и понимала, что теперь они опять останутся одни…
Спустя несколько месяцев, оправившись после тяжелой эмоциональной травмы, Алена пошла работать в модельное агентство. Она помнила, как трудно приходилось ее маме, когда та работала по 18 часов в день, дабы прокормить себя и маленькую дочь. Теперь настал черед Алены помочь маме. Она считалась успешной моделью, много работала над собой, прилежно училась и, несмотря на постоянные фотосессии и показы, закончила школу с отличием. После получения аттестата Алена выбрала себе отнюдь не женскую профессию и поступила в Академию МВД, решив пойти по стопам своей мамы, которая, кстати, наконец-то обрела свое счастье. Она встретила любимого человека, и знаменитая фраза, что «жизнь в сорок лет только начинается», уже не кажется ей смешной.
Когда 8 октября этого года Алена вернулась домой с большим букетом цветов и в короне победительницы кастинга «Мисс Европа», она поняла, что мечты сбываются. И вспомнила свой первый рисунок – дом, море, счастливая семья и розы. «Пусть утверждают, что сказок не бывает, но я никогда не перестану в них верить, - говорит Алена. – Правда, с одной поправкой - бывают сказки хорошие, а бывают плохие, как и все в нашей жизни».
